Ocean Cove Condo Key Largo Locus Maris

Relax and unwind in our beautifully renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom suite located on the top (4th) floor—offering sunrise and ocean views in a secure, gated community nestled between Key Largo and Islamorada. Surrounded by protected mangroves and tropical landscaping, this peaceful location is perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking for a slice of paradise.

Inside, the suite sleeps up to 6 guests with a king-size bed in the master, two twin beds in the second bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Enjoy the fresh ocean breeze from two small balconies, both with water views.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need—including quartz countertops, cookware, dishes, a microwave, toaster, and coffee maker—making meal prep a breeze. There’s also a stacked washer/dryer in the unit, plus hair dryers in each bathroom for your convenience.

You’ll find a 65” TV in the living room with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime, plus 50” TVs in both bedrooms. The master bath features a spacious walk-in shower, and we’ve included a small desk in the master bedroom for those who need a quiet workspace.

Resort-style amenities include:

  • Inspired by @williamJones I went down to south Florida. I also went down to visit family :D. Granted, I had to capture a few landscapes along the way. I left Atlanta at 3:30 PM and got into Key Largo at 3:00 AM. Slept for a couple hours in my car and went in search of a sunrise. I hoped to find a dock falling into the water, but this was just as good. I also went from 37 degrees to 74 degrees. That was interesting.

Great condo - spacious, clean, and very comfortable! Balconies were smaller than I expected but still a beautiful view! We were unable to use them during our stay due to work being done on railings & repainting of the floor - but I did snap couple of pics witb the doors open!

This unit was very clean, beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you need. The balconies overlooking the ocean are amazing, as is the pool and beach/pier. A very nice, safe complex to stay in on Key Largo! Would definitely recommend and hope to stay here again when we rwturn!

Exploring the Keys

Property consists of 5 buildings 250 units. This unit was very clean and well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pool was large, clean and a popular area. Seating in the pool area could use an upgrade. We enjoyed the serene beach area over by the marina. Enjoyed the Islamorada area for dining which is the next town so close by. Overall enjoyed our time!

2023 Summer vacation

We loved our time here. Everything was just as in the photos. Very clean and location is perfect for many activities, restaurants and stores. Lazy days on site at pool and beach are perfect also. Communication with the owner was great and easiest check in ever. Highly recommend staying here.

Family Fun in sun

Great property, had all we needed for a wonderful week. Pool is huge and location is great. The marina, cafe and bars were closed. If they are seasonal the listing should mention that. The pool was amazing and the pictures don’t do it justice. Water was warm and there is plenty of seating for all.

Great, spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo with nice ocean and mangrove views. Totally remodeled condo has everything you need for a keys vacation. Beautiful, huge pool. Quaint beach and nicely maintained grounds overall. Spacious primary bedroom suite. Kitchen with everything you have at home. Due to a delayed flight, we got in during the middle of the night. We were warmly greeted at the Ocean Pointe Gate and we were in the condo within minutes of a very quick check in. Thanks for everything!

Cute coastal condo

My two friends and I used this as home base for a 5 day stay in the keys. Easy to find, ample parking and very cute coastal themed decor. We even loved the feral cats that greeting us upon arrival. The pool and hot tub were added bonuses. Loved all the thoughtful details and decor from fish printed bed sheets to jellyfish wallpaper and adorable beach towels. Everything was clean and sanitized for our arrival. We did have some minor issues with shower temps and water pressure but all in all this was a lively space for 3 adults to stay. Would definitely recommend to others. Josh was very responsive and plenty of fun things to do nearby or within a short drive.

Very comfortable with nice view

We went the end of August. All appliances and AC worked great. Loved the extra blankets and pillows. Well stocked kitchen with some spices and plenty of laundry detergent (even though we used our own). The elevator worked fast and we never had to wait long for it. Lots of parking close to the condo. No place to see the sunset so make sure you do your research to find a nice place to take photos. Tavernier does not have any natural beaches and most of the man made beaches facing the sunset are private/no trespassing.

David, was a great host. Easy to communicate with. He provided recommendations for places to eat, places to adventure and who to adventure with and thru. No problems accessing property or getting through gatehouse. Someone was always at the gate. The pool, hot tub and beach area were all great. The grounds are beautiful and all areas are well maintained. There's a good truck, never had a chance to try it out. But it's a nice extra they have by the pool. David's condo was a slice of peacefulness that we were looking and hoping for. It was just two of us but it was nice having two bathrooms. Plenty of bath towels and pool towels were provided as well. The area is very laid back. We liked the area and we liked David's condo. We would definitely stay again at Ocean Pointe. Thanks again David!
