"Good location with very comfortable bed but room and parking were expensive"

"First the good. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. However, the hotel itself is a little run down. Flooring in rough shape and just needed some love. And we were disappointed that there was no working elevator. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal but our son was three weeks out from acl repair surgery and the steps were difficult for him. Our room wasn't very clean. There were smudges, dirt, and stains from what looked like some kind of substance running down the wall, floors and door casings were dirty and it looked like someone had marked all over the floor. The pull out sofa bed didn't have a cover and the mattress had stains. There was lvp flooring which was nice but it was sticky. And FYI, the doors to the bedroom section of the suite have glass panels so no privacy for those traveling with children or other adults. Just disappointed in the overall lack of cleanliness."

Drury Inn & Suites Columbus Polaris

10/10 Excellent

"This is the second time within three years that I have stayed at the Drury Hotel Polaris. Both times have been such a pleasant surprise. The property and my rooms have been very clean, which is the most important thing for me. The staff has been super friendly and helpful. The breakfasts and dinners have been enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone!"

The Plaza Hotel Columbus at Capitol Square

8/10 Good

"Conveniently located. Staff were very friendly and well prepared for our arrival. We requested an early check-in, and they were very accommodating to help make sure we weren't late for the first act of the music festival. Parking was convenient. We used a pay lot across the street. Our room was fine. We had a nice view of the park. Overall, we were looking for an affordable and safe place to sleep after a concert and didn't need a lot of bells and whistles. Perfectly fit the bill."
