"The property is set in a very quiet and peaceful location with beautiful gardens. The owner clearly spends time and effort on the grounds however, we were disappointed by the lack of privacy in our room, it being directly adjacent to the breakfast room with all the accompanying intrusive noise.We were warned the previous evening by the proprietor that this was likely altho we did not realise it would be quite so loud. "John and Christine are perfect hosts. They have created a lovely set of rooms complemented by a fabulous breakfast and evening meals that are delicious, should you choose to eat at the lodge. Our stay was relaxing and we felt well cared for in every way."

"Cosy, comfortable, and clean!!!! This rental is well maintained in a quiet location directly across from the bay. We brought our dog and the proximity to walking paths worked well. As well, the property had a fenced off area that allowed our small dog to roam around without fear of him leaving the property. Hosts were friendly but kept their distance which allowed us to feel at ease. Really enjoyed the stay. Thanks."
