"This property was absolutely immaculate. It had all the things we needed for a stress free stay. The views from the house were out of this world. This was actually one of the best I’ve stayed in. We hired more linen coz we didn’t want to travel with that and the price for 3 of us was extremely reasonable. Would stay there again in a heartbeat and hopefully will again soon. Highly recommend."

"The room's bathroom was too small- there was no where to hang out wet togs and towels. Pool gate and area could use a update and refresh. and the curtains are too see through, for $300 per night I was expecting a bit more in the room, but staff were great. Prices for a toated sandwich and salad and fried expensive."

"The property was rustic as described by the host but suited our needs well. Plenty of beds for our large group. Great location. Could do with some mirrors in the bedrooms, as it was difficult for our group of 8 to do hair/makeup for the wedding we were attending with just the 2 mirrors in the bathrooms. "

"Perfect spot for our family to stay for a long weekend. The view was amazing, and I loved how the house was actually big enough to cater for the amount of guests able to sleep there. The hosts were incredible accomodating with adding people for a few extra nights. Highly recommend! "

"The tiny house is pretty cool but it was pretty gross. The house and all of the upholstery- futon, pillows, mattress, duvets, drapes- REEKED of patchouli. It was so strong that even after a few days of airing it out it was still strong. None of the windows had screens either so the offset to getting some fresh air was a bunch of bugs. There was a giant dead moth under the pillow on the bed, spiderwebs everywhere, and a few of the window coverings were broken. The shower drain was also broken. This place needs a deep clean and some maintenance.We ended up both sleeping on the futon and just spent as much time away from it as possible. I asked the property manager to drop off new linens and they told me there were extras in the downstairs bedroom (which we didn’t have access to) and I mentioned that and then they ghosted me. If you like patchouli and bugs…. this place is fine, but otherwise keep looking. It’s too bad because the location was rad and it was a place we were really excited about. "

"Wonderful stay! We’d come again. The property was clean with beautiful views and Susan was great to work with as she provided us with flexibility when the fire broke out in Tongariro. The two rooms are open rooms with minimal privacy which was fine for us, but may be uncomfortable for others if traveling with couples! "
