"We enjoyed our two day stay, we found jojo pizza a 5 min walk away and they had the best burgers. The hotel had a lovely pool and access to the black sand beach. The roosters did their job but did not bother us, we fell back asleep quickly. The AC unit sounded like an old washing machine so we hope that will get fixed for the next people. All in all we surely will stay here again. The staff was very friendly"

No amenities like a coffee maker, toiletries (a bar of soap or tissues would be nice), microwave or refrigerator. Yet there was an ironing board in the closet, but no iron, and there was an ice maker in the hallway, but no ice bucket. No restaurant on site. "I really wanted to give this place high reviews, but unfortunately the great pluses this property has (amazing location right on the water and views) are negated by an overzelous and controling owner. Prepared to be scolded, warned and admonished for many things a paying costumer would not in other stablishments. I.e. do not take the kayak out in the beautiful bay because it could be damaged by the coral..are u serious? Why have a kayak on the property if it cant be used. Or, dont leave the AC...

"I had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it. The host was wonderful — very communicative and accommodating. He met me on arrival and walked me through everything.
