I really liked the place and I would definitely stay there again. The staff was helpful, the rooms were clean and the food was great.

Excellent, clean, modern. Perfect location, perfect room, perfect staffing and perfect breakfast!

The hotel location is central, very close to shops, restaurants, cafes. Staff are excellent, very helpful and very kind. Would stay here again when in town.

Aarau is an adorable old walled city with a river running through it and the hotel is charming, but also completely renovated inside. Staff was super nice. Bottled water and breakfast was included.

Hotel was wonderful and the price was so reasonable. It was in the middle of a quaint fortress old town just a couple of blocks from the Rhine River. It was super close to the train station. It made us feel like we were living 10 centuries ago but yet the hotel was totally updated and very comfortable. Would love to go back.

We stayed because all hotels around Bern were booked due to a expo in that area. Olten is a small town with old city centre to explore. This was a stressful trip for our family. The team at the Engel Hotel made it less stressful. They helped make phone calls where needed, let us store our luggage for a few hours, provided free water bottles, and were warm and friendly all throughout the stay. As a customer, you will also get a free public transportation pass for the duration of your stay. It was very helpful. The only thing that was missing was a thermostat in the room to control the heater and air conditioner. Otherwise, we...

Nice hotel though out of the way. Need a car

Would stay there again without hesitation.

I was here as part of a wedding party and the hotel and staff were very nice. They even made portable A/C units available for us. The location is easy to reach by train.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were nice and spacious. The breakfast buffet was well stocked.

This was an amazing place, beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, clean and tidy. The view from the balcony of the restaurant was amazing. The only thing was that the breakfast was nothing fancy. Other than that, 10/10.
