"A breathtaking scenery. Beautiful home. We travelled with small children. The hike to the house was a challenge. Every time we made it to the house we felt it was worth it. Be prepared to climb quite a distance by foot on a narrow path. There is lots to do in San Marcos and the neighbouring towns of San Juan and Panajachel are a must visit. Overall a beautiful place with a beautiful view. "

"My reservation got cancelled as I was arriving to the property at 5:22 the day of checking in. me and the rest of my family (16 members) had to scramble to find another place without any large amounts of cash, as my refund didn't take place immediately, i have no words to describe our experience- we were left stranded in a foreign country with not many options,"

The location is about 10-15minutes walk to town with young children, so ideal for anyone who enjoys peace and quiet but doesn't want to be reliant on transport to get groceries or experience the local community and culture. "The hotel was a comfortable stay overall. The staff were incredibly accommodating to any request we had and the food options were very good. The views from the restaurant up top are amazing and it is a good place to stay at overall. The only downside is that some of the rooms are a bit outdated so they sometimes smell, and the floors will have cracks in them. But as a whole, it was a pleasant experience. "
