The location is about 10-15minutes walk to town with young children, so ideal for anyone who enjoys peace and quiet but doesn't want to be reliant on transport to get groceries or experience the local community and culture. "A breathtaking scenery. Beautiful home. We travelled with small children. The hike to the house was a challenge. Every time we made it to the house we felt it was worth it. Be prepared to climb quite a distance by foot on a narrow path. There is lots to do in San Marcos and the neighbouring towns of San Juan and Panajachel are a must visit. Overall a beautiful place with a beautiful view. "
