"Lovely place! Very quiet and perfect place to switch off."

"I booked two rooms, one for myself the other for my son. When we arrived we were given keys to our respective rooms and another for external door entry outside of opening hours. My key was just loose with no number. We were told that we could have a drink at the bar but needed to go immediately as it was about to close. The nice young lady who booked us in appeared to serve drinks. We sat down to have our beers on stained and tacky looking chairs and a large dog appeared and came and joined us.. We are both dog lovers and the dog was friendly, however, if you were afraid of dogs this would not have been a good experience. Both our rooms were shocking, unclean and in a state of what I can only describe as disrepair. When I got up and went to get something from my care at 7.30 and shut the front door as I went out I assumed that the key I had been given to let myself in would do just that, it didn't! We left without having breakfast!"

"Room was very clean and more than suitable. The bar was had a good range however, asked for a Irish coffee made with whiskey and it was undrinkable But would definitely stay again "

"Unfortunately the kitchen had no gas and this meant there was a very limited menu for both dinner and breakfast The veggie alternatives were not for us, so we had to travel to a local place for food. Breakfast was a bit of a disaster as that gas problem meant everything was microwaved or stewed. Everything tasted strange and very sweet. Not a pleasant experience Sorry Stones. We won’t be back."
