"I’ve decided to give this rental a nickname, “The Geode”. If you don’t know what a geode is, it’s a volcanic rock with a rough exterior but when you crack it open it’s filled with marvelous, beautiful, multi-colored crystals. From the outside, this “Geode” hardly fits the welcoming feeling you’ll get when you unlock and open the door. Inside there are two large rooms. A living area with a full-size couch, coffee table, and a large-screen TV. The living area also has a fully-equipped kitchen with a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, an air fryer, and a Keureg. Cups, glasses, plates, bowls, and cutlery. And a small table with stools for sitting. There are a few other cooking items in the cabinets that I didn’t identify other than a two-burner hot plate. A door separates the living area from the equally-large bedroom which has a large dresser, a work desk and chair, the most-comfortable bed ever (in fact I’m waiting for Luc to tell me the brand) , another large flatscreen TV and a large en suite bathroom with an upgraded shower. Water pressure? You might have to duck and we didn’t run out of hot water. So, while you might have to go passed a little rough stuff on the outside of “The Geode”, all of the pretty crystals are on the inside…and that’s what you’re renting isn’t it?As the sign in the bathroom says, “I’d poop here again!”"

"My daughter and I were in town to compete at WEF and this beautiful house nearby suited us very well. I loved the house! The homeowner provided lovely little touches like water bottles in each room, cute little nightlights around the house, beds that were extremely comfortable and a kitchen that smelled nice. Communication with the homeowner, Shintia, was terrific. She addressed any concerns immediately and followed up with us to make sure that all was well. She was a really great host. We had an excellent stay and I hope that we can stay here again. Thank you, Shintia!! "

"The positive, If you are homeless then this is an upgrade! I really tried to not be critical & over look things as this was an inexpensive place to just sleep at night while working. I stay at cheap hotels & overlook cosmetic issues, if it’s clean & comfortable, I don’t care about the tile/fixtures/linens, you get a great review. So I wasn’t going to complain that the bathroom was a do-it-yourself nightmare. Newly remodeled bathroom has a hole cut out of the wall so the toilet is half inside the wall..why?, as it was all new walls. The shower tub entrance was a hole cut out of the wall & when inside the shower (also covered in dirt) you see raw backside of dry wall. Did I mention to get to the bathroom it was down the stairs & around the other side of the house? But this was dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed at. Everything covered in a layer of dust and dirt, even the night stand and especially the bathroom floor has small mounds of mystery dirt. The curtains were a tattered piece of material, the bed needed to be retired & the 2 in. thick flat pillows. Air conditioner was not adequate to keep both rooms cool, literally sweating(it was a big inside unit that had a duct that went out the window). The second room was really a closet, with a twin bed inside about 8 inches from the doorway & no air vents so you had to leave the door open anyway & a set of faucets were ranfomonly on the wall. But there was NO SINK in the bathroom… so I can’t ignore everything else… this broke me."

"We had a great time here during our for a wedding! Check in was super easy. House was super spacious and definitely cleaned/laundered before we checked in. Bedrooms are very spread out, so never ran into issues of being woken up by someone using the bathroom or going to the kitchen at night. Be prepared to figure out which light switches Kitchen is super spacious - loaded with lots of cookware, dinnerware, glasses, mugs, utensils, spices. Wifi was a little spotty - but we had 7 guests, each with 1-3 devices connected. Totally understandable, but something to keep in mind with large groups. "
