"What I didn’t like was that it says that the restaurant has a coffee shop which I understood that it’s supposed to be a place that sells sandwiches and some snacks, but all they had was a bar and a vending machine. Other than that it was a nice and quiet place. "

Beautiful property, lovely personnel and pretty grounds. The only negative I have is that the gate at the road to the actual residential building is unmarked, unlit and several kilometers from the main gate (which is marked and lit at night), making a late night check in (in the dark) very difficult.
I am sure this is being addressed since that entrance appears very new.

Arriving way ahead of check in time in a downpour with wet bicycles we were graciously greeted by the owner of this charming old hotel. He allowed us to have our room immediately and it was perched on the corner with two windows looking out at the old clock tower and the roofs of the town. This man made our stay so pleasant by his warmth and enthusiasm for his special town. He told us what to visit and lent us an umbrella and made us a delicious dinner.
