Exceptional property on the edge of VEZERE near LASCAUX

"Wow, where to start!Isabelle and Denise are perfect hosts, despite our embarrassingly poor French! Nothing is too much trouble and everything has been thought of, and more.The main house is fantastic; the facilities, furnishings, bedding etc are all exceptional but, as good as that is, the showstopper is the separate pool house with a summer kitchen and amazing shower room. The outside space is incredible with a large pool, ample relaxing and dining areas with the bonus of table tennis and badminton facilities. The house is on the Vezere river with fields adjacent, so very relaxing.Over several years, we have been lucky to stay in some wonderful houses in France but, by far, this is the best.The location is perfect with the picturesque town of Montignac just a few miles away. A few miles further on takes you through a series of beautiful villages along the Vezere until the confluence with the Dordogne river. There is so much to see and do in a relatively small area but to venture further beyond toward the bastide towns of Monpazier and Belves is easy as well.The property is a dream and highly recommended.Thank you Isabelle & Denise for a wonderful holiday!Neil, Helen, Adam & Ben."
