Convenient, clean and spacious, but a bit expensive.

Truly an amazing place to stay. If you want to stay in a very old hotel, you will not be able to beat this, maybe 800-900 years old? They have put a lot of effort into updating this place to make it work as a hotel. The only effort that was lacking (maybe my view because I'm American) was that the room didn't have AC. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff were kind and very helpful. The a/c was welcome on the 90+degrees we had. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options. I will be staying there again!

We had such a wonderful stay at La Sarlamandre. Our hosts, Stéphy and Séb were so kind and welcoming from the start. The rooms are very clean and feel brand new. Breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and cake. Everything was so perfect and their attention to detail made our stay so comfortable. We really felt at home. We were so sad to leave and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Merci beaucoup!

Ideal location next to Lebanche Museum and historic district. Pleasant staff, comfortable bed, well-equipped room.

Very basic room and amenities. However room was clean, staff was nice and friendly and free parking. Good value.

The room was spacious, and the view of the river with a small lanai was fantastic. We did not utilize the kitchen; however, it was well appointed. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Certainly would recommend this hotel for a very pleasant stay.

We chose this hotel based on pictures and on the fact that it was next to the Brive train station and the agency where we were to pick up our rental car next day. It turned out to be a delightful stay. Great staff and the new rooms are wonderful--spacious, modern and comfortable.

The staff were amazing!!! I booked at the last minute at 11:00pm and didn’t make it to the hotel tilll past midnight. She waited for me to check me. Really nice of her and she was very welcoming

Excelent Stay Perfect Hotel

This place was absolutely wonderful. Clean and comfortable, beautiful surroundings and our hosts couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Great breakfast, too. Close to many villages as well as Sarlat, without being in the thick of the city. Would definitely stay there again if I return.
