In a charming small town off interstate 94, the Kempton Hotel offers friendly staff, a good nights sleep and a no frills continental breakfast. Walking distance to Legion hall for cocktail and dinner, and to Evelyn Cameron gallery and county historical museum.

The staff/owner were all very friendly and helpful. We had a couple needs that they helped us with and were happy to do it. The room we stayed in was small but comfortable. However it needs some repair. It had a small microwave and a nice size refrigerator The 1/2 bath that we used was clean and in good repair. The place had a lot of wonderful items decorating it including several horse sadles and lots of great art work.

The staff member was great. We chose this place for its historical factor. Our only downfall was the hotel lost power overnight and without ac the room got hot. Otherwise its a great place to visit.

We arrived at the hotel before they received the reservation notice from Expedia; therefore did not have our reservation but made room for us and gave us an upgrade with our own bathroom. Very nice and accommodating!! Friendly staff and very clean hotel and rooms with a lot of interesting history :)

What an absolute gem of a property! I love everything about this hotel. It's been beautifully updated but also retains its century-old charm. The staff is wonderful, the bed and linens perfectly comfortable. Will stay here every time I pass through this part of Montana.

This hotel is more of a museum than a hotel. The collection of old pictures on the wall, old wall paper, vintage furniture etc is a delight. And the owners are friendly and the coffee strong. What more could you ask for. And don’t miss the Cameron Museum 2 blocks away.

This place was super cute, and had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in in a hotel. Of course, it's historical, so it is old, but try not to judge it based on that - it's part of the charm! The staff were super friendly and I'll definitely stay here again. Thank you!
