"I made a last minute booking at The Glen and enjoyed it. Before I checked in, they messaged me to see if I would need a supper reservation. The host met me when I arrived later, and my room was comfortable. I went and sat in the front room for a bit in the evening, and the host came out to turn on the gas fireplace for me. My room was quite cool (which I prefer) but there was a heater available in the closet. There were several menu options for breakfast (selected the night before) and it was very nice (my first time trying kippers). "
