"Everything was wonderful "

"I was going to stay there after an art retreat in chateau nearby. I was taught the night before by guests at the retreat that they stayed there and left in the middle of the night because the hotel is haunted and the noises in their room was too loud they couldn’t ignore it and they left telling the owner they couldn’t stay there because there is no ac. The owner gave them a refund after a huge fight. So I thought to myself let me personally go and tell them the truth about what they told me. Now the front desk lady laughed saying she didn’t mind the ghosts. But I told her please let me talk to the owners and see if they can give me the refund so that I don’t have to go through this. I begged them on the phone. These men hysterically yelled at me telling me I’m making up stories, that I’m a liar. Now tell me why and who lies about such a thing? Let alone how uncomfortable it is to confess a truth that is superstitious to a lot of people.I am a girl, alone, so I can get scared and no one will care or bring me comfort if I am put in a bad situation so I have to try to protect myself. After a huge drama over the phone they said ok we will give you your money back but you have to pay the first night. I agreed and asked for a refund request. They said don’t worry we’ll do it ourselves via Hotels.com, we still didn’t retrieve the money. I learn after that this was a lie. They took the money and told Hotels they won’t refund. The hotel looks so old and bad I could’ve just said that"

"Location near to Bramtome was good. The hosts were very friendly and helpful couldn't wish for more.Facilities were good and the swimming pool was lovely with great views of the surrounding countryside."

Andy and Lisa greeted us on arrival, showed us around and made it clear that they were always available if we needed something. Beds and chairs all very comfortable. "Stunning old water mill on beautiful grounds.The kitchen is really well equipped & spacious.We had a really lovely relaxing stay. Some fresh foodie bits were in the kitchen on our arrival which was really welcomed after a long drive. Lots to see & do in the area.Highly recommend."
