"I had a fantastic stay! It couldn't have been better. As a solo female traveler, feeling safe is important to me, and I truly did here. Incredibly friendly staff, amazing room, fantastic location... "My first room had no safe and was not clean, considering the price in Thailand I was disappointed. Once I pointed out the safe was not operational they made two other rooms available which were better. The resort is next to the beach we’re there is resturants and a few bars. Potentially with better upkeep of the grounds and general maintenance the resort as plenty to offer there’s plenty to se around and about"

"Although we enjoyed our stay here the overall impression of the hotel is that it really needs updating.
The rooms were tired, with many issues such as dated curtains that were either open or closed. As we had a ground floor beach front villa this gave little/no privacy if the curtains were open. Net type curtains in the main bedroom at least would have improved this.
The air-conditioning, although worked well, broke down whilst we were staying and leaked lots of water onto the bedroom...

"We had a fantastic stay in one of the beach villas. The beautiful beach with the surf was a stunning sight right from our room. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Most of all, we really enjoyed the sumptuous dinner at the White Box restaurant. Highly recommended. "

"Our (2 adults, 1 child) stay at Maneechan was lovely, a very large resort in Chanthaburi. Excellent breakfast with Thai, Chinese and Western options including a great coffee. The pool is wonderful for children, however loud music is played from about midday on, and the rooms are not soundproofed, so not very relaxing either by the pool or in your room. Very clean and large rooms."
