"Another lovely stay at the Bear and Ragged Staff. The room was spacious and clean, very well appointed with tea, coffee etc, lovely toiletries in the bathroom and a fan gor thd UK summer heatwave! We had a drink in the cosy bar, followed by a very good roast dinner in the restaurant and an equally great breakfast before departure. Staff were exceptionally polite and helpful and it was the perfect stopover treat. We will return :)"

"The hut was very clean and comfortable and suited the four of us perfectly. We also appreciated the fact that there were only two other huts in the field and there was space between them. Despite arriving quite late our hostess met us and made sure everything was ok. The swimming pond is a wonderful bonus and we would definitely return. Thank you!"

"Lovely little cottage, perfect for a short stay (wish we had longer!) local to Oxford, Cotswolds & as a stopover from north to south as just off M40/A34. Managed Ok even in hot weather as a fan provided & bathroom was fab. Would have been nice to be able to open up the rear door for patio breakfast rather than walk around the side but not there long enough to be an issue. Opposite the church so had a musical alarm call from the bells on a Sunday norning which was novel & as expected for village life. Nice pub in walking distance. Thanks for a great stay, definitely come back when next in the area."

"Gorgeous piece of property. A bit more remote than advertised being near Oxford. Quiet and a beautiful redo of an old barn. Need to let people know stairs could present a problem getting to bedroom and shower option might not work for some people. We relaxed and enjoyed the local pub for dinner"

"What a lovely cosy shepherd's hut in a quiet field with 2 other huts well spaced apart. I never heard any of the other guests. It was perfect as a little hideaway to relax after working in the area. Very clean."
