"Perfect from arriving to sadly when we had to leave. We arrived to a lovely warm and clean lodge. It had little extras like chocolates on the beds and a bowl full of goodies on the kitchen table. The lodge was very clean and had everything we needed from dish washer tablets to binoculars for bird watching!! In a beautiful location with a pub in walking distance that served a delicious Sunday roast dinner! "

"The heating did not work at all. Host refused to provide toilet paper as the place is "self catering"???Lovely location.Nice room except for lack of heating and toilet paper. "

"An ideal location for our get together celebrating 40years since we commenced our nurse training & friendship.A comfortable property with ample space and a real home from home feel.Excellent communication from our hosts, who responded promptly to all queries from the point of booking to checking out, and we're genuinely interested and concerned that everything was perfect for our stay.The bedrooms were extremely comfortable and we all slept very well.The showers could be a little temperamental but nothing we weren't able to overcome.The kitchen and dining area was ideal for our needs and a sociable space.We had a slight issue with the hot tub not heating to temperature which was successfully resolved when we contacted Brett & Niki. The hot tub was a little touch of luxury for the end of our stay.Midsomer House is on the main road through Midsomer Norton but we weren't really affected by road noise during our stay.The back garden, seating areas, Inuit Hut and hot tub were perfect entertaining, relaxation and socialising areas; importantly it was also very private.For us all it was a perfect stay. "It was an exellent place to stay. Plenty of room with the main window providing a view across a field. Clean, well equipped, excellent shower. Very comfy bed. We highly recommend it, so does our dog! Mells village is about a quarter mile away, where there's a post office with a coffee shop attached. The Talbot pub/restuarant does excellent food and is dog friendy. "
