"If this venue had a pool it would be a 10/10. Only because we had little ones (7 and 4) and the current gets strong at times. I love that this house is so well laid out. Love the space inside and out. Tvs in the bedrooms are needed (again mainly for littles )but this requires you to get outside and enjoy Gods blessings of nature. So much to do even if it rains. The view is stunning and we caught enough fish in 1 day to feed all 11 of us! Amazing. Areas that could improve (only because we are coming back!) 1. Water pressure is terrible in showers.2. Downstairs shower didnt work at all and thats the only tub for littles. 3. The bed upstairs (queen) is rickety but comfy. 4. The upper level deck by the water is very loose. It sways pretty bad. Listen this place is huge i cant imagine the maintenence. It accommodated all our needs and then some. We WILL BE BACK! "
"We had an absolutely amazing time at this beautiful home on Lake McQueeny. The house was spotless, spacious, and perfectly set up for a relaxing and fun getaway. From morning coffee on the deck, the awesome views of the area and lake, and the convenience of being somewhat close to Gruene and NB, every moment was peaceful and memorable. The home had everything we needed and more. It was clear a lot of thought went into making guests feel comfortable and welcome.A special shoutout to Shannon, the property manager, and Jack the owner who was incredibly kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. They both made the entire booking and check-in process smooth and stress free.We’re already looking forward to our next stay and will definitely be booking again with the same wonderful hosts. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing lakeside retreat or fun stay in the area!"
"Absolutely incredible stay!We had the best weekend at this private lake house! The property was peaceful, beautifully maintained, and had everything we could possibly need—and more. Even though the water level was a bit low, the hosts went above and beyond to make access to the lake super easy and enjoyable. We spent hours in the water and had such a fun, relaxing time. You can tell the owners put a lot of care into making this a welcoming and well-stocked getaway. We can’t wait to come back! "
"We had such a wonderful time staying at this property while celebrating my husband’s birthday. Something for everyone to do! My 6&8yo kids loved the pickleball court. Highly recommend. Host was very communicative. Will definitely go back!"
