"The house was older but nice and small but roomy. Beds were comfortable and kitchen adequate. We loved the boat dock deck and spent most of our time out there. It’s lovely to be able to watch the birds and soak in time peacefulness of the lake! Our only complaint was the hot water in the bathroom. There wasn’t enough for a bath and not enough for 2 warm showers. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay. "

"This was a perfect spring break getaway for our family and only a few hours from our home. We had so much fun fishing and kayaking down the river every evening. Our teenage boys caught lots of fish, relaxed in the hot tub, played pool and never got bored. We found plenty of things to do in town everyday and relaxed at the house every evening. Also it was close enough to San Antonio to spend a couple days there visiting our son at Lackland and going to Fiesta Texas. Perfect sized house for our family of six and an overall great experience!"

"Our family stayed here to celebrate Thanksgiving and my birthday, and the home truly made the experience special. Every space was thoughtfully designed and incredibly well equipped. From the comfortable beds and spacious rooms to the abundance of towels, it was clear that a lot of care went into making guests feel at home.The kitchen and butler’s pantry were the heart of our stay. They were fully stocked, all appliances worked beautifully, and we were able to prepare and enjoy family style meals together in both the living room and the sunroom. Those shared moments meant so much to us.The outdoor spaces were just as wonderful. We grilled, gathered around the fire pit every day, and created memories we will cherish for a long time. Everyone had a great time, and this house truly made it easy for our family to relax, connect, and enjoy being together. We are very grateful for such a warm and welcoming place."

"We loved the big kitchen we are all cooks and it made it so easy. The kitchen was so beautiful and we had everything we needed. We had our rehearsal dinner there and the placement of the living room made it so easy to stay close to each other. "

"An absolute beautiful house and location on the river.It was perfect for our mothers 95th birthday and reunion.The indoor areas and the outside sitting areas esp. the fire pit.Jeff and I managed very easily with our communications Usually over my lame queries and requests. He was always helpful. Fully stocked chefs style kitchen. We have 2 chefs in the family so that worked out well. The gas grill was helpful ( I wish it was a bit closer to the main house. But perfectly situated if you are using the barn, Sadly we didn't have time to enjoy down by the water only the youngest grandchild did attempt some fishing. Lovely . Thanks."

"Our family loved this home. This home was spacious, clean, and very well designed. The house was beautiful and great and had everything we needed. The only thing we were unable to do was fish from the bacm which was not fault of the owner (the damn should be finished soon so the water will return soon).The best part of the stay were the owners, they checked us on a few times to make sure we didn't need anything which we found amazing."
