"What a wonderful stay! The hosts were so welcoming, making you feel like a guest in their home. My room was lovely and clean, with thoughtful touches throughout. I visited at Christmastime, and there were even a couple of decorations in the room. Breakfast was fantastic. "Excellent Host. The room was clean and spacious. Lots of hooks in the bathroom (always a plus) and places for clothes in the room. The bed was very big (Kingsize UK) and comfortable. Kitchenette was great especially having a fridge. It was very quiet in the room at all times. The location was perfect just a minute to the beautiful old square with lots of places to eat and drink. Local Spar shop was well stocked and just a 2 minute walk. Train station was about a 20 minute slow walk but regular buses were just a few minutes walk away. We would recommend this quirky property to anyone visiting Alkmaar."
