"We were not expecting so many homeless people and drug users passed out all around the property including the front entrance. The breakfast wasn’t worth it nor good so the next morning went next door to Tim Horton’s for breakfast. More homeless people and begging for money and we watched a drug deal go down inside restaurant. I love Hilton but they need to clean this one up because currently it’s scary on the streets all around this property. "

"We enjoyed our stay at the Palliser Fairmont Hotel, a lovely former CP Hotel in downtown Calgary. Very well appointed rooms, with adequate in room amenities. It is easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. On the down side, valet parking is recommended and is very expensive. There is no casual coffee shop in the hotel, only an eating/drinking bar or main dining room and not convenient for early departing quests. There is a coffee machine in the room, but ours didn’t work. There were noisy quests in the room next door and we could every word, very irritating."
