It was a cold, rainy day & when we asked about the heat we were told it was off for the summer but hostess graciously turned it on so that we could get warmed up. Not only is it super convenient to the village, but the rooms are spacious, beautiful, and VERY comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, and despite the fact that we all seemed to be there at the same time, service was fast. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking for convenient, clean, and comfortable accommodations while visiting Doolin!"

"We were in Ireland visiting family when we got stuck in Drogheda late. We called the hotel to see if they could help us out since we simply couldn't get to Galway that night. The hotel was very rude and didn't do much to help us with the problem. I understand having cancellation policies, but this one seems to strict. I went online and it was clear the hotel didn't lose out on a reservation since they still had vacancies. Oh well. "

"When I booked this hotel, I was so excited to see it in person. The Dean did not disappoint in all areas. Upon arrival, the front desk staff (I didn't get their names) shared the best things about Galway, how to access them and engaged in a conversation that made you feel like you were a guest in their home. The amenities were outstanding and the design and function were clearly evident. We ate dinner at Sophie's our first night and the food did not disappoint neither did the view. I would HIGHLY suggest this hotel and want to give kudo's to the lovely young lady and gentleman that checked us in. "
