"Great friendly staff. Lovely walk into town, especially if you walk along the beach. Was upgraded to another room which was greatly appreciated but certainly not expected. The whole experience was that the location was very quiet and even better, affordable. Will definitely be back on my next visit. "

"Easy to find as it is on the main road from Ballina. We had off street parking but you would need to check arrangements if you have a trailer. "

"Excellent accommodation, good check-in experience, easy access to “The Terrace Restaurant” from room. The grounds are well presented and provide a peaceful taste of the tropics. The restaurant was pleasant, the meal delightful and substantial. Did not like the “virtual mini-bar bar”. If it’s “order from room service”, then that is what it is, don’t dress it up! It looks like the host cannot trust people with the mini-bar and that means me as a guest, which I find insulting….. Whilst it was a bit cool on this occasion I like a swim before breakfast, the restricted pool hours would deny this to me, and likely many guests, who are not planning on early morning pool games. Other than these minor items we would recommend the Ballina Byron Islander Resort."
