"Holly House is a lovely place to stay - Dee is the most delightful host and her garden is just gorgeous. The room was perfect for my two-night stay in the area, to visit relatives and National Trust properties. A very comfortable bed, and hot shower. The breakfast options were excellent and set me up for the day ahead. The proximity (within easy walking distance) of a good country pub, The Red Lion, was a bonus for evening meals - highly recommended. I would love to return one day to Holly...

"Great pub/hotel with the rooms being in converted outbuildings. Service was great as was the food and drinks. Room was comfortable with no problems from pub garden noise. Bathroom could have been cleaner and the shower door didn’t quite work. We’d stay again. Perfect for a overnight before a Gatwick flight or channel crossing "

"Beautiful old pub, stunning rooms, all staff very attentive, warming, welcoming, everything you could as for. Superbly kept garden, truly stunning! One of the best beer gardens ive had the pleasure of having a drink in. If im in the area again, ill most certainly stay again."

"Loved our stay. The property rooms apartments are tastefully decorated clean and spacious. Grounds are beautifully kept. There is a nice walk right around the property that we loved. Continental breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Our host Tracy was kind and always happy to help with anything. We will be back! "

"Lindsay is an amazing host. She is so helpful and has lots of great suggestions for the area. The location is very good for Gatwick airport and much nicer than staying in an on-airport hotel. "The Hikers Rest is in a small cabin in a beautiful setting overlooking the owner’s lovely garden. Room is small but very nicely made up with all facilities you need."

"The whole experience of staying at Duck Lodge was easy and delightful. Keith is the consumate host and is quite rightly very proud of the little slice of heaven he has created just outside of Brighton. We really enjoyed the feeling of being tucked away and having our own privacy. Using the hot tub was a treat and the lodge itself is super cute. We will be back :)"

"Very friendly and welcoming hosts with a beautiful character property in a fantastic rural location. Full of period features and although we only stayed for one night we did have a chance to stroll around the farm and surrounding area. Superb full english breakfast featuring a lot of produce sourced on the farm. A perfect place to stay to access all nearby countryside and amenities."
