"LOVE this neighborhood! Walk along canals, to the boat landing, to the riverside Bait Shack Bar. Kayak to snorkel in the springs & swim with manatee. Fabulous house with comfy beds, everything you need in the kitchen to cook great meals, great lounge area, & the screened in deck was great for keeping our paddling & biking & snorkeling gear. "

"It was our family’s 3rd time to stay at the Mermaid Shack. Terri and Doug have kept this place new ! Even though we were happy with it before , we noticed that they have put in additions and new changes to the property and home itself that made it even more comfortable to stay in . Some of our favorites were the comfortable beds , recliners, efficient washing machine , dryer and most of all , AC And in their usual fashion, our hosts, Terri and Doug continued to be very accessible if we ever needed anything.Thank you so much !
