"Getting to the house was quite easy - not far off the highway. Once you get there, it is so quiet and peaceful! It is an older home so not a lot of "fluff" to WOW you (everything that was needed was there), but having all the bedrooms and beds for us all was a HUGE asset! There were 11 of us and plenty of room to spread out. Sitting out on the deck in the evening was nice. Even with 2 young boys there was still plenty of room to find a quiet place to sit and enjoy the stillness.If we have to opportunity to go back to Karnack, I will definitely see if this house is available again."

"Cabin was in such a private location but with all the amenities you could want. The county road to the cabin is pretty primitive but totally worth it. Kayaks were a great perk and fishing from the dock was fun, even if we didn't catch anything. Kitchen was well appointed and the bathrooms were large and super clean. No need to take towels or shampoo or soap or toilet paper/paper towels; all provided. Those are little things that set this property a step above most. Comfy couches in the living room made watching movies at night enjoyable. Beds were comfy and AC worked well. 20 minutes from Jefferson and 30 minutes from the lake was convenient. We really enjoyed the wildlife. We saw gators, herons, egrets, frogs, deer, humming birds, etc. We will definitely be back. "
"This was such a wonderful place to stay for 2 nights. The check in process was super easy and the place itself was sooo cute! Very quiet and kind atmosphere. The breakfast was out of this world. Two courses and such great service. Would definitely recommend to anyone!!"
