"Clean and freshly painted room. Recently updated bathroom, also. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This is a nostalgic Route 66 Inn. They have pictures from their beginning in 1937 and through their many changes through time. It still has that simple retro feeling and good ole service of days gone by, complete with classic cars, an old phone booth, and gas pumps. It is a fun place to stay!"

"Nice location for my purpose. Service was good throughout the building. Only issue is the inner fire door closers slam the door so if your an early bird and just walk thru the door you feel like an idiot for not stopping to catch the door.I have stayed at the property a few times and it has been that way for over a year."

"This is one of the better hotels I’ve stayed up for a while Holiday Inn will be my choice of hotels when I travel if I can have the option to stay their beds are most comfortable hotels are very nice. This one in Springfield is exceptional."

"Very interesting hotel with amazing design and beautiful rooms. I wish housekeepers would not knock on the room door at 8:00 in the morning. If they need to know who’s got check out earlier why not having a data list directly from the front desk. "

"Unfortunately the hot tub was down for cleaning during our visit and I had been looking forward to getting in the hot tub. There was an empty water bottle found behind our night stand, so the house keepers should be sure to check behind there during the cleaning!! The fridge was up to high and was freezing our drinks and food. But we enjoyed our stay and loved it"
