"What a beautiful house. Everything about the house was great - location, kitchen, bedrooms, living and relaxation rooms - and outside areas with games and furniture to relax in this great environment. Host (Bob) was incredibly nice, very friendly & accommodating and very available however gave us our space as well. Family wedding nearby so we had 4 generations under one roof: from 1 year old baby to great grandparents (92). Fantastic place for a visit, family reunion, or to scout out and enjoy a beautiful lake and mountain region of NH. We will definitely be back!!"

"Perfect location! Super comfortable, firm beds. House was clean and easy instructions. Great open view of the stars at night, and the balmoral beach and amenities are great. Kids loved fishing off the dock and we enjoyed the large firepit and stargazing."

"Cleanliness and overall maintenance of this property is very poor. Decking was falling apart so be careful especially if you bring small children. The house definitely needs a thorough cleaning and maintenance. Someone had wiped down the kitchen and bathrooms, emptied trash, but that was about it. Junk and candy wrappers under beds. Dust and cobwebs throughout entire house. I will say the kitchen was adequate with working appliances, stocked with dishes and utensils. However pots and pans need a serious upgrade. The non scratch cookware is mostly scratched so bring your own if you plan on cooking. Grill was very dirty. The basement is uninhabitable given the musty dank smell. Overall not healthy! You can see from their photos this property is dated but that’s not the problem. Unfortunately it has been let go. Paint mostly peeling off the deck and loose boards. Not safe! Downstairs bathroom shower basically unusable. This property has potential as the location and lake view are great, but needs some very serious maintenance and a professional cleaner. Disappointing that other reviews do not reflect the condition of this property. I am doubting renting through VRBO in the future for this reason. "

"Lovely waterfront home and property....lots of space in th event of rain for games and eating inside ... Lots of space outside for your boat, for swimming, and on shore sun bathing and reading..cocktails on the deck it in the gazebo. Huge kitchen- plenty of space for multi generations and or friends! The only thing...when we initially booked thru VRBO...the only photos of the home on the website looked like it was a newer house. It is not a new home - it is a well kept but dated property. Perfect for our lakeside fun! Loved our stay and would love to return sometime!"

"Lovely weather, swam daily. Saw the eagle a few times, herons, hummingbirds, great blue heron. Everything we needed was there for our enjoyment. Terrific beach. "
