"The room was spacious and comfortable. It was nice to have so many electrical outlets. The wifi wasn't working when we got there but they came and fixed it. It was a weak signal. There was lots of shampoo, body wash etc. It was disappointing that the water was not safe. Luckily we had water with us."
North Shore Wayside Inn

"The motel is located next to the Trans Canada highway and is well marked with signage. It is a very well maintained piece of property. The rooms were very clean, including a microwave and small fridge with a freezer. It was quite quiet considering its proximity to the highway. The staff was friendly, polite and very helpful. We would recommend this motel, if staying in the area."

"Calling this place clean is just not enough; it was immaculate and stocked with pillows and blankets, hand towels and dish towels. The smallest deficiency was the small coffee maker, but that is fixed since we bought one and left it there as a part of our appreciation.If you expect clean, you will not be disappointed."

"We had a wonderful stay. The schoolhouse was cozy and comfortable - the pictures don’t do it justice, it’s so cute!! Lots of nice homey touches and great communication from the hosts :)"

"Immaculately clean and nicely decorated. It was a relief to find somewhere that would take our, small, non- shedding, dog.Please note, this is a small bunkie set behind a house so no views and limited seating inside (one chair).Could do with some upgrades and tlc (shower, towel rails would be useful. It would be good to have known we needed to bring a hairdryer).We rented in mid-September. There were very limited dining options in Gore Bay (none at all on the Tuesday evening, and the supermarket closes at 6). Leanne: please provide a hotplate and minimal cookware (skillet, saucepan with lid)! None of this is expensive and a portable hotplate is easy to get from IKEA. A toaster oven is not enough!Were surprised to be sent a bill for an extra 92 including the VRBO service charge shortly before our stay."
Denvic House - a private lakefront retreat

"Our stay at the Denvic House was a perfect week. The house is equipped with everything one would need. The beds are so comfortable and it's a wonderful feature to have all blankets, linen supplied. This just makes it that more easy when packing. Communication with Grant was excellent!!! Really great group of people to communicate with.We ran out of bottled water and it was delivered the next day.I would highly recommend this place.The views are stunning and the stairs are a great source of exercise. :)Thanks to the Denvic team for a great week."
