"The property is well located, within walking distance to all the sights. The rooms were clean and as described. Staff responded quickly to questions through the Expedia app and were friendly and helpful. We arrived on an early morning flight and were able to leave our bags there while out sightseeing, as well as check into our room early (2pm), which we really appreciated. There are also laundry facilities in the basement of the property that we were able to use."

"I would not recommend this hotel. Before arriving, I requested an early check-in because my flight landed in the morning and paid an additional €50 for it. When I arrived, I was given a room that was clearly not the room I had booked. It was small, old, and not particularly clean. I returned to reception assuming it was a mistake, and was then told that my actual room was in the newer building but was not ready. After checking, the front desk informed me that the room would not be available until 3:00 PM, despite the fact that I had paid extra for early check-in and had arrived around noon. At that point, the only solutions offered were to either cancel my stay entirely or receive a refund for the early check-in fee. Having just arrived from an international flight, exhausted and jet-lagged, finding a new hotel was not a realistic option. The staff seemed completely indifferent to the inconvenience. When I finally received my room after 3:00 PM, I was extremely disappointed. The room was far smaller than advertised, looked nothing like the photos, and certainly did not feel luxurious. Overall, the customer service was poor, the early check-in service I paid for was not honored, and the room itself failed to meet expectations. It’s definitely not sound proof either. You can hear everything going on in the rooms next door, hallways and the wind whistling in from the patio door For the price charged over 2000 euros for 4 nights, I expected much better."

"Beautiful boutique hotel in central Dublin, walking distance to all major sites. Lovely lobby to relax in with fireplace. Comfortable beds, great shower, excellent restaurants. Only reason I didn’t rate the hotel a 5 is two little, but impactful omissions in the hotel description. The hotel has air conditioning BUT only in SOME rooms. Our room did not have aircon and it was an unusually warm period in Dublin so sleeping was uncomfortable. I know many hotels in Europe don’t have aircon but we thought The Fleet did so it was an unexpected experience. Also, the hotel has an elevator BUT many rooms are actually in connecting buildings so you get an elevator to a floor but then have to navigate a series and halls and additional stairs to get to your room. Again, many hotels in Europe don’t have elevators but we thought The Fleet did, so another unexpected experience. Just be sure that you get a room with an aircon if it’s in the warmer months and a room nearish to the elevator and you’ll have a wonderful experience."
