"Fantastic property! Modern, yet sustainable and fitting the environment. The room and bathroom were spacious, bed incredibly comfortable. The restaurant on site was delicious and the staff incredibly attentive. Excellent spa amenities too. The included breakfast and Hotels VIP perk were appreciated. Only gripe I have is that the hotel is called Glacier Lagoon, yet it is a :30 drive away from the glacier lagoon. The setting is not at all indicative of the stunning lagoon."

"The place is a tad outdated, but it has a great nostalgic look and charm. The free breakfast was fantastic, and the dinners were really good. The wifi was spotty, but nothing that toggling between the two networks didn't solve. The location is fantastic, we stayed for two nights and were able to make day trips toward Vatnajökull National Park, Jokulsarlon and Fjallsárlón lagoons, and Diamond Beach one day, then toward Hofn and Stokksnes the next. We'd definitely stay here again and suggest the hotel to anyone looking to spend a few days in this area."

"Very basic small hotel room. Not much space to put carry on luggage. It would be nice to have at least a mini fridge since there are no stores close, restaurants are expensive so I could put a couple of groceries for next day travel. We had dinner in the restaurant since there is nothing else really close by. It was pretty good. The shower curtain and towels were worn out a bit. Loved watching the sheep outside the window and free coffee/tea in reception area. We didn’t want to pay $24 a person for breakfast but it looked pretty good."
