The Wee Nook, just 3 miles from Carver Landing!

The Wee Nook is a cottage tucked away in a peaceful, lovely location near the national park. Use it as a base for hiking nearby trails, or floating the Buffalo River (just 3 miles from Carver Landing). There are six Highland cows that roam the pastures surrounding the home, along with plenty of wildlife on the property. There's a wet-weather creek that flows from approximately December to April (depending on rain fall). Come relax in the gorgeous Ozarks!

***I will send you a map pin, as the address isn't recognized by map apps*** Also please note the home is down a mile long gravel driveway, with a steep hill. I've had no trouble in my 2wd SUV, but I don't recommend motorcycles!!

The Wee Nook was a beautiful place to stay. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed looking at the Highland cattle’s. They were so cute. The owners were very quick to respond to questions. The place is a perfect getaway. I definitely recommend.

Great place and very private.

This was a nice place to stay as we spent a couple of days on the Buffalo River. Very clean, quiet and well stocked. The snacks were also a plus!!

The Wee Nook was very quiet and relaxing. The cabin was clean,cozy and had everything you would need for a pleasant stay. If you love solitude then you will love this place.

Great little hollar hideaway!

Loved this spot and the space! The views, cows and horses were such a wonderful addition. We made a great fire and looked at the stars, used the Trager and had a wonderful time. Thank you so much!

Wonderful Place and Wonderful Hosts

This is the second year I have stayed at the Wee Nook. It is located on a beautiful property in the country. The Host is a very nice woman who is always quick with an answer if I have any questions about the house or the surrounding areas. very professional. The house is clean and comfortable. I couldn't ask for better

A fantastic place to stay

Wife and I made an overnight trip out to The Wee Nook. The place is on the back corner of the property and is very quiet. The property is really nice and has two levels. The kitchen, den and bath / laundry room is on the 1st floor with the bedroom on the 2nd. This is a terrific weekend getaway location.

Amazing place and host!

Awesome stay and experience

Everything was perfect! Quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed drnking coffee in the mornings.on the front porch as the sun rose As the neighbors dog came to visit.

Wonderful Place

My husband and I stayed at the Wee Nook for 4 nights to celebrate our anniversary. It was just as described, clean, property owner went above and beyond with kindness. The highland cows were a huge bonus. We loved it here and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet place to get away!

Just WOW!

This place was perfect for my boyfriend and I who did an overnight float on the Buffalo River. We are from 5 hours away and just needed a place to stay for the night before and after. The Wee Nook was exactly what was needed and the bed was so comfy!

Quaint, Quiet Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this quaint and quiet VRBO nestled in a peaceful valley in the Ozarks. The one-bedroom rental was the perfect cozy retreat, featuring a spacious king-size bed and a comfortable living area ideal for relaxing.The kitchen was surprisingly efficient and thoughtfully stocked with all the cooking utensils and dishes we needed. The GREAT ESCAPE

We had the BEST time!!! The wee nook is perfect! The cows are wonderful, the location was 20 minutes from everything! The owners were especially nice and were available for any questions, the CLEANLINESS was awesome, just can’t say enough!!!

Peaceful and yet soooo pampered!

If you want a peaceful, relaxing experience on top of being spoiled by all the best amenities; This is your place! From the FULLY furnished kitchen, most comfortable furniture and king bed, washer and dryer, and even the Treager pellet grill—you’re sure to enjoy!! The Wee Nook was so beautifully decorated and above and beyond all our expectations! We came to kayak the Buffalo River, but we enjoyed our stay just as much if not more! The Highland cows roaming around are just so beautiful also! We will be back!!!!

Loved staying here!

The house was so cute and decorated beautifully. Very comfortable couch and bed! Communicating with property manager was very easy. And the fuzzy cows!!!!! such an added bonus to our stay! We got to feed and pet them! As long as you use google maps, the place was easy to find. It does have a steep driveway so make sure your vehicle can handle that. My only draw back to the house was the stairs to the bedroom are a little steep but not too terrible. I would definitely stay here again!
