"Cannot fault this lovely property right on the banks of the river! We stayed a week at the Nest. It is more spacious than it appears. It is beautifully appointed with stylish decor and a sumptuously comfortable bed. There is a good size lounge and dining area with log fire, to cosy up and read a book. There is also another lounge area with a TV, a small perfectly formed bathroom with bath and a kitchenette. Nic and Hannah are wonderful and caring hosts. There is a beautiful garden at the property that attracts a fabulous array of birds, including a Kingfisher which was a delight. The rear of the property has a deck where you can sit with a G + T overlooking the river to watch the sun go down. The hosts have thought of everything and have included many thoughtful touches. Off a quiet road and close to a good village pub serving quality meals. We cannot recommend it enough and will be back! Thank you Nic and Hannah for such a wonderful stay:-)"

"Great outdoor space and Leisure outhouses but issue with gate not working. Swimming pool chemical balance was wrong ( badly stinging eyes ) and water felt cold ( to be fair was dealt with within 48hrs) The one and only tv doesn’t work regardless of instructions. No tv Ariel . Had to stream through a phone via wifi. Cinema room DVD works ok but Netflix not. 4 bedrooms share one shower room. Shower heads need cleaning and one shower bracket to hold it was loose so wouldn’t stay up. One wardrobe the hanging rail was so high we couldn’t reach. One bedroom the door wouldn’t close but had a bolt on the inside , seems small problem but really annoying when you have to get up out of bed to open door when people knock to come in. Cheap flat pack furniture wardrobe . Not able to open drawer and doors at the same time so again small problem but irritating. A couple of rooms had no wardrobes at all. Cobwebs on the beams. Generally inside the house weds a bit of TLC. Pre warned stingy on the loo rolls one one per toilet and only one towel each for the whole week. Just felt overall for the money paid it should be a higher standard. Other than that our family had a nice time."
