"A hidden gem, the manor is tucked away on a domain easily overlooked. A beautiful house where we were by chance welcomed by the owner, chocolatier Daniel Mercier, with whom we shared stories and a cup of tea with chocolates. The room was gorgeous, fit for royalty, with a beautiful view of the grounds. Breakfast was top quality, heavy on delicious chocolate of course, well worth the caloric intake! We will be back for sure!"

As it was Bastille Day they had a local celebratory one off meal on a day when the restaurant was usually closed, and we were invited to join them as guests. "We arrived later than expected and after the kitchen closed. The team were waiting for us patiently and prepared cold, but delicious dinner for us in our room. This was really unexpected, but very welcome after a long and arduous drive. We felt very well looked after. The room was spacious, warm, quiet and comfortable. The service at the hotel is friendly and very professional. We were very pleased with out stay."
