What a charming place in a very small town! Finding out that we had a hot springs hot tub was a bonus. Not having an elevator was downside. Given that there were not a lot of choices when staying in this town I think we did all right. If it was an a larger city, I would've given it lower marks. So don't be afraid to stay here because the charm is worth it.

Very nicely constructed facility in a great part of town. Right near the river, park and boat facility. Thermal bath facility right on property. Bed linens and beds comfortable. Breakfast selections were typical of this category of hotel HVAC didn’t work, light blocking drapes didn’t retract, cob wed and floor debris evidence of obvious lack of cleaning. Staff couldn’t have cared less about HVAC or drapery and check in was poor. Was on a fishing trip with my son, so we chalked it up to equivalent to camping. Had thought about bringing my wife up to Thermopolis for an extended weekend getaway - not a chance unless the ownership totally cleaned up its act.
