The building appears to be a well-maintained residential apartment building in a wonderfully convenient location almost next to the central park. Having visited Thessaloniki before and able to navigate it on my own, Gatto Perso was perfect. "The location wasn't near restaurants nor the waterfront area, but if you have a car or are willing to use buses, then it's not a big negative. The facility is modern, with a lovely rooftop pool area, excellent gym and great breakfast. Our room had a minor balcony but big enough to sit outside. The bed was comfortable - not too hard, not too soft. Overall, an above average hotel for a good price."

"Overall, a pleasant stay. Loved having an archaeological site across the street and being able to view from our room. The parking was difficult to get to as I had a hard time with the 1 way street. The place we parked our rental car caused some damage to the paint, scapping the side of the car and refusing to take responsibility. So take pictures of your vehicle before leaving it int the hands of Alexandro's parking garage."

"Very nice hotel, in excellent location within 10 minutes walk of a very vibrant bar and restaurant area. Easy walk to Upper Town and the Station for day trip out to Edessa. Nice breakfast an great reception staff. The Expedia organised airport transfer limousine company was great too"
