"My Daughter and I had a beach front cottage, it was beautiful, we felt it was spacious enough for the both of us. The restaurant on site was also lovely. All the staff were very friendly,. "The Baan Manali is an excellent resort for the price. It's on a lovely stretch of beach, they serve up amazing food and drinks, wifi is excellent and staff are very friendly. The rooms are a bit dated, but this adds to the charm of the resort. You won't find many good restaurants nearby, but this is the case in most areas and a scooter hire is almost essential in Koh Phangan if you want to explore the island and restaurants."

"Beach was not nice or usable, the shower was only trickle and the AC was way too cold at night. The upside was the daily excursions were offered for a very reasonable price and there was a fun vibe. Staff was not very helpful when I lost something, they didn’t even try to look for the item. "
