"The room was awful..it had a pink very worn carpet It had poor ventilation and no fan.. a hole in the net curtain, the bathroom had a pink bath that was full of silicone to hide all the cracks, no cold water after leaving it running for ages. I know it's being renovated but builders everywhere and noisy. Good point was the bed was comfy and clean."

"Everything in the house which made a great stay. Beds very comfy and excellent heating. Close to the town to pick up groceries for a self catered break. Regular bus and trams into Blackpool."

"We had a lovely short stay in this attractive stone pub with lots of character.. The location is perfect for Lancaster and the University nearby. The rooms are of a high standard and very clean. Food was good and staff pleasant and helpful. The lovely garden at the back was ideal for a relaxing pre dinner drink. Thank you, we will definitely recommend to our friends!"

"Lovely large room . Well set out heating / cooling facilities made things very comfortable. Breakfast was well set out sadly we weren't able to take full advantage of what was on offer. Evenibg meal was also good value for money."
