"We enjoyed our brief layover in Hagerman at the Red House on our way back east to Colorado. The cottage is well appointed and comfortable. We appreciated the kitchen and laundry facilities in particular. Nice renovation."

"The amenities offered, and the friendliness of the staff were great. Breakfast was also good, with quite a few options and seemed to be of good quality. The room was great and laid out well. The building itself could use some updating…because you could tell it’s an older building that reminded me of a maze. Overall a great experience!"

Canyonside Retreat - Park-like setting, Panoramic Views with Hot tub & Firepit!!

10/10 Excellent
"Amazing! There’s no other word to describe it. First off- and my sticking point- cleanliness … This house may be cleaner than my own home. It is clear that it is loved and well cared for by the host.. Who is great!! She does the little things that make a difference during the stay. She’s responsive and helpful. The home is perfect for a family. The kitchen is well stocked. The washer and dryer are clearly new (I saw a review suggesting otherwise.) The hot tub on the deck and all the outdoor seating was so nice to have as the weather cools at night. The beds are very comfortable and the sheets are soft. There is even an office if you want to work and the WiFi was sufficient to do so. As for the location- you can’t imagine how breathtaking it is. Even the pictures don’t do it justice. You have to see it in person to realize how fortunate you are to even have this house at your disposal. The grounds are pristine and our kids loved exploring it. Thank you for sharing it with us!"

Cozy Cabin -HotTub River Front

Cozy Cabin -HotTub River Front

"While I would love to give this a 5 star review, I cannot. The check in process was perfect. It was just my husband and I and we had a fantastic time. The only downside was the AC unit. The big one was broken and all that there was to cool off the home was a small window AC unit and 2 box fans. The fans just blew around hot air. When we got there I want to say the home was between 80-85 degrees inside. We brought food to cook on the stove and in the oven and absolutely would have changed our minds if we knew the AC unit was down. Cooking door made it hotter in there and we had a very hard time sleeping while we were there. The host mentioned that the note they had on their main platform about the AC unit didn’t move over to this platform. While I understand technology doesn’t do everything it should sometimes, they could have verified that everything transferred over the way it should have. Or messaged me directly to inform me of the AC unit breakdown. Overall we had an amazing stay. The home was clean, bathrooms were clean, property was gorgeous. Hot tub was amazing (at night). Only downside was that it was 105 while we were up there and the small AC unit did close to nothing for cooling the whole house."
