"Homeric poems is a small hotel in a beautiful setting. Having spent several days travelling around Santorini, the location in Firostefani - really quiet, particularly at night, yet only 10-15 minutes walk to the busy centre of Fira, was ideal. The views are spectacular. Do be prepared for steps - in common with most of the properties, the hotel is built into the cliff and you will spend a lot of time walking up and down steep stone steps. By far the most important point though is the staff, who are all incredibly friendly, kind and thoughtful. During our stay Christos and Olga seemed ever-present, recommending and booking tours, transfers and restaurants. I would highly recommend using them to arrange transfers etc. - we arrived from the airport in their arranged car to be met by a very friendly Christos and his colleague who carried all our luggage (it is a short walk from the nearest parking/road to the hotel along a footpath). Santorini is a beautiful island and we found everyone we met to be friendly and welcoming, but the staff at Homeric Poems were exceptional."

"Very pleased with this property. Easy walking distance to local bus station, open air market, and the shop-lined pathways following the caldera. I was treated to a warm welcome with complimentary bag storage and coffee/tea upon arrival and departure. Room was recently renovated with specular results. Very nice interior finishes with a spacious bathroom. The superior room also included a generously sized glass-enclosed deck with partial ocean view. It was amazingly quiet given its central location. Highly recommended for travelers seeking an exceptional value in Santorini."

"Well for nearly £1000 a night found it very strange they pointed out 3 times whilst showing us the room to turn the heat on via the fuses for the shower and turn off 10 minutes afterwards (Not sure with wet /damp hands how safe that would have been )just to penny pinch for heat on 😂 or being woke so i just left on all the time to be safe Anyway overall the view was amazing and staff great just 1 more point the bedroom upstairs banged my head 8/10 times 😂"
