The real positives were the staff, genuinely lovely and welcoming – along with excellent food and a great selection of local beers on tap. "This centrally located hotel is perfect for a trip in or around Morpeth. We were a group of four in two rooms. The rooms were large and spacious, and the beds comfortable and clean. The rooms and public areas would benefit from some decoration as they detract from the fantastic customer service the staff offers. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we were in the area"
