"I stayed at the Jester while I was in the area for business. Bas and his chef Derek bent over backwards to accommodate during what was a very difficult time for them at the tail end of the second lockdown. With no other staff to support them, and making preparations for the reopening, they still found time to make sure I had access to evening meals and breakfast, despite the fact they had no reason to open the kitchen, just to serve me. Wonderful staff and lovely hotel.

"I love this place! The layout is so welcoming! The pool is lovely and clean. The bar area is cosy, and the restaurant is set out nicely with a lovely ambiance. The breakfast was delicious and really well cooked. The staff are just exceptional! Absolutely every single person we spoke to could not do enough to help, and nothing was a problem. I had a knee replacement 2 weeks before our stay, and had not realised I’d need an accessible room, and although the first night they had none available, first thing next morning they moved us to one. This is one of the friendliest hotels I’ve ever stayed, and it’s totally down to the wonderful staff. Omar… you were brilliant! As was the lovely chap who helped me out of the taxi last night just as he was leaving his shift. Thank you all so much x"

"This hotel is located right beside the canal and there is bar and restaurant next to it, so you can either sit outside and enjoy the peacefulness of the canal or you can take your drinks etc back to the room if you wish. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and have both a fan and fridge which is an added bonus. Plus the staff are very welcoming and helpful hence why have visited 3 times now and will definitely return "
