Great location for a family gathering to bike, visit the battlefield or visit Shepherdstown. Hosts went above and beyond to be sure we had all we needed. Would definitely stay again if in the area. "Had originally planned on staying with a buddy of mine from the service, he got sick and couldn't make it so I stayed there alone. Plenty to do and see in Gettysburg, the location was within walking distance of the town center. "

"The house was amazing, great views and a great layout that allowed for us to hang as a group or have some privacy. Very convenient to everything we wanted to do; Harper’s Ferry, Ziplining (or rafting based on time of year), and the Brewery that we went to on the last night felt like it was almost walking distance. Definitely recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat. "

The home could use TV’s in the bedrooms.I don’t recall the listing stating the property manager lives on site but this was a non issue as entrance and living space are separate. Definitely recommend this lovely home! "

"One of the best VRBO properties we have stayed at to date. Nicely renovated 100+ yr old home in Historic downtown Frederick…great location with everything we wanted in walking distance. Owner goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome with many snacks/food items and amenities. Especially loved the outdoor courtyard area with fire table. "

"Stayed here on a recent visit to Gettysburg, traveling with our 10 year old granddaughter and our dog. There were so many nice touches and amenities, and the beds were very comfortable. Communicating with the owner was easy, and the owner went out of their way to be helpful and accomodating. We were pleasantly surprised at how well-stocked the kitchen was, and impressed with the collection of games and pet items. Great stay!"

"We stayed for 2 nights fishing, and site seeing get away. It was the perfect location!"

"The property was great for relaxing, touring local history and enjoying the recreation on the Potomac River and bike trail. We had a slight issue with the water heater, called the property contact and the problem was fixed within the hour. Excellent service and great stay. We would stay again. "

"Stayed with a group of 8 for a weekend of fun. The house was big enough for everyone and the property was nice. Would prefer to be in town for easier walking, but we were only 5 miles down the road. Would definitely stay again."
