"Very friendly staff in popular and welcoming village local. We only stayed one night and didn't eat here though the menu looked great. Obviously popular with locals and tourists alike for a small village it was busy on the Saturday night we stayed. Room was clean and comfortable though dated. The bed was a bit older than some but perfectly pleasant. The surrounding area is stunning with plenty to do within a short drive and lots of walking on your doorstep. Overall a most enjoyable stay. "

"Horrendous journey to the Fox and Pheasant. Worried we would miss the dinner cut off time we called through. Been traveling for over 10 hours! No problem arrive very tied to a lovely bowl of soup. Feel in to bed and had an amazing sleep. Set off next morning after a fantastic breakfast and a lovely packed lunch. Defo stop off again"

"The Grange was a delightful place to stay. It was beautifully decorated throughout. Our room snug and cozy. It was on the top floor and gave us a lovely view of the surrounding hills.There was a choice of two longues downstairs were you could chill out if you wanted.The breakfast provided was excellent.
