"My partner and I loved our stay at Hotel Villa San Lorenzo Maria. The room was very clean and a good size, the bed was very comfortable, the staff were exceptional; very friendly and gave great advice of local places to visit. I really enjoyed the location, however, it is good to note that it’s approximately 30 - 40 minutes on the trams and buses into the very centre of Rome, this does mean it’s a little quieter and a lot less tourists near the hotel."

"Tucked out of the way from main area of Rome sites, but with no 3 and 19 tram stop just outside. A few restaurants in the area but at least 20 minutes walk from termini station. The property description did not meet with the reality as the photographs did not look anything like what we experienced plus no free bottled water or premium bedding. The lady at reception spoke little or no English so explaining that we expected the aforementioned went unrecognised."
