Top Tiki Village Cultural Centre Hotel Reviews
Ylang Ylang By Tahiti Homes Villa
8/10 Good
"The property is beautiful and overall we enjoyed our stay, but there were a few issues to be aware of when booking this property. The beach, landscaping, and decor are all absolutely beautiful. The snorkeling right off the beach is fantastic, and the sandy shore is great for kids. Because you're on the eastern side of the island, you get sunsets over the water. The unique layout of the property is also perfect for multiple families. The air-conditioned unit is the middle-sized one, and it worked well. A family of dogs lives next door and wanders over the to the beach, but they were not aggressive. The primary issue we had is that all of the appliances (stove, hot water, etc.) run on small propane tanks, and we ended up without basic utilities for a good chunk of our stay. The first day, the primary bungalow stove did not have any fuel, so we could not cook, and it took the property manager visiting to figure out that the propane tank was the issue. After that, the fuel for the hot water for the second and third bungalows ran out, and we could not replace it due to a faulty valve, so we were without hot water for two days. Eventually, the caretaker's husband was able to replace the tank. The property manager brushed off these issues, but they were a significant inconvenience. We also noticed several dead cockroaches and a severe termite infestation in the third bungalow (droppings all over the bedside table in the morning), which should be treated."
House lagoon in Moorea, sister island of Tahiti
10/10 Excellent
"The property was just as described. Teva was an excellent communicator being available to assist with any needed issue. Location on beach was exactly what I was looking for. Kayaks were a definite plus, I only wished I had snorkel gear.I would definitely book again! Thanks Teva"
MOOREA - Fare Taina Iti - Bungalow for 4 people in Haapiti
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely amazing quiet property! You do need a car for this location! Loved the use of private lounge chairs and kayaks. The beach is so beautiful and only has very little local foot traffic making it feel like a private beach. You have a white sand trail through a large reef full of life!Make sure to stock up on food/drinks/ice at Champion Market near Ferry before continuing to house. You won’t want to leave once you get there. There is plenty of cookware/utensils, but you need to make sure you get everything else, like spices and napkins and/or paper towels…If you want to bbq, you’ll need charcoal as well."
Fare Nalu - 2BR Beach Bungalow
10/10 Excellent
"Fare NALU is in a perfect location on the island of Moorea. Situated right on the lagoon with a huge backyard away from the road it is very quiet and peaceful. Beautifully appointed with modern kitchen and bathrooms it is a standout if you are looking for that something special. The white, sandy, private beach is ideal for a rest after great snorkeling or kayaking right out the front of the house in the lagoon. A sunset paddle up to the jetty is a must do. This place does not disappoint it is everything and more that it is described as. Super clean and professionally managed with a shop walking distance for all the gourmet treats the island has to offer. Wines, cheeses, croissants and other provisions easy to obtain. We have visited Moorea seven times now and this is one of our favourite places to stay. We have stayed at Nalu twice and would definitely return again. Lesleigh and James"
Villa Miti Vai - 3 BR 3 Bath Beachfront Villa
8/10 Good
"The place was great. The people that I booked it through were great and the woman who met us there answered all our questions and showed us around. Things that were not so great. There are only three kayaks and there were four of us, lots of ants in the drawers and on the counters, made it hard to keep clean while cooking and eating. Neighbors constantly burning things which was freaky to us because we had to evacuate and move out of our home for over seven months because of the fires in California so that smell gave me nightmares. I found it far from a lot of things. But the water is right in front of you for swimming, kayaking, and plenty of sea life if you like to snorkel.. I would definitely recommend recommend it , especially for a family."
Villa Vanaki - Beachfront Villa 4BR w/ AC
10/10 Excellent
"This house was perfect for our group of 7. Bedding very comfortable, AC in every bedrooms, the backyard with a direct access to the water is amazing ! There are canoes available, we used them everyday. The neighborhood is quiet and clean. We enjoyed to watch the polynesian show at the tiki village located 2 min from the house. The communication with Marine was very good too. She was welcoming and helpful."
Fare Heimery - Private Lagoon Beach
10/10 Excellent
"No AC in overly hot living room. Kitchen is poorly equipped. No toiletries or dish soap or paper towels. Dogs are in your space but very nice. Can't really swim off shore -- we experienced the current they told us about. There are some fish to see. Cocos restaurant was a nearby favorite. Overall, debilities did not bother us much it was such a lovely spot. One sunset makes what bothers you better."
Moorea Beach Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Location was amazing. So peaceful, quiet, and serene. Viewed sunset from deck chairs of our room. Small facility so beach walks not crowded with lots of tourists. Room a little small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - all so fresh. Secured parking on site. Only suggestion is to make guard gate electronic so aren’t required to get out of car to enter code. "
