"My family and I always enjoy staying at Residence Inn—it’s our top choice whenever we visit Berkeley. The hotel is only about a 5-minute walk from the campus and very close to BART, with plenty of shops and great restaurants nearby. The room is very well organized, the bathroom is spotless, and the bed is perfectly comfortable—not too soft or too firm. "This hotel is brand new, less than a year after opening. It is very clean and modern. It has a nice pool and a restaurant. It is close to downtown Walnut Creek with its own parking lot. The only negative is its close proximity to both the 680 freeway and the BART train tracks. I have bad hearing, so it didn’t bother me, but could be an issue for those sensitive to noise. I would definitely stay here again, "

"This was a lovely stay in a darling town. The room was super clean and cozy. We felt very safe and comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is making sure you call the hotel if you have any special request at all, and to make sure you have check in instructions . Do not just message through an app. It is a contactless hotel, so it felt more like an air BNB than a hotel in regard to communication. There is no front desk,etc. It is an excellent place to stay!
