"THis property is perfect. Clean, well stocked, great mattresses, very comfortable and so close to the beach! A few snafus with the check in and check out instructions, but the place itself is perfection. We will be back!"

"Budget friendly, clean and quiet hotel. Front desk staff was very helpful and there were a few food options close by. The room was huge. There was no telephone in the room not that we needed one anyway. We spent one night passing through and it was perfect. We ate at Fern‘s Café and had a wonderful experience during our stay."

"Our experience in Cabin 17 was not good. It was cold, there was no apparent heat source. The extra blankets reeked of mildew and were unusable. The tv did not work. We got no sleep. There was no regular coffee- just decaf. We had to leave in the early morning just to get in the car to get warm. I can’t get the sleep back but want my money back!"

"View was fantastic and it was so close to the beach you could just walk to it! However the room was not clean. There were also notes posted all over the room warning you of fines if f you did certain things, and although it’s good to communicate, it also didn’t make me feel relaxed and able to enjoy the stay. I would love to stay in Oceanside again but will look for different accommodations."

"Second year in a row we have stayed. Love the ocean view from our room and the sound. Clean and maintained only thing is under the beds could have been cleaned better…two dirty socks under one bed that had been there a while however will not let that deter us from staying again! Staff was helpful and super friendly!"

"Not great value for the price. The hotel had clearly been recently redone in some areas, so parts of it looked very nice aesthetically, but a lot of things didn’t feel very functional. The marble shower, updated sinks, and small kitchenette in the room were beautiful, and the bed was comfortable with a nice TV setup. The biggest issue was the toilet constantly clogging and barely flushing, which was honestly pretty gross. Thankfully we only stayed one night. The staff was super kind, and the lobby looked nicely renovated, but beyond that the property still felt quite dated. The hallways were dingy, there was no pool, and the surrounding area felt a bit sketchy with not much around. There was also some kind of orange liquid/stain on the lampshade, which made the room not feel as clean as it should have been. Overall it was a fine stay for one night, but definitely not worth the price we paid, and there are some maintenance and cleanliness issues that I think need to be addressed!"
