"Very disappointing stay. The hotel was extremely dated, shabby and poorly maintained, and finding our room felt like navigating a maze. Reception wasn’t especially helpful, and by the time we eventually found the room and restaurant, food service had finished and we had to go elsewhere for dinner.
The whole place felt tired and neglected rather than charming or historic. We genuinely considered leaving and driving home that night. Would not stay again.
